Receipt and Expenditure
During the financial year 2021-22, Agency has generated total Receipt of Rs. 96.75 lacs against total Expenditure of Rs. 26.07 lacs. The major components of receipt are from agency’s operations/ certification charges i.e. application & registration fee Rs. 5.19 Inspection fees Rs. 22.04 lacs, Sealing & Tagging Charges Rs. 11.18 Packing Supervision Charges Rs. 11.18 lacs, Processing Charges Rs. 5.37 and Registration under Seed Village Scheme Rs. 40.33 lacs. Apart from this an amount of Rs. 1.46 lacs has also been generated by other petty charges. The certification charges being realized by the Agency per unit on account of services rendered by it are given at Annexure-10.
These charges are applicable w.e.f. October, 2013. In addition to this, Agency has received a sum of Rs. 75.00 lacs from Govt. of Himachal Pradesh as Grant-in-aid. The major components of expenditure is salary and administration cost.

Agency is having Rs. 380.34 lacs in different Bank accounts at end of the year. The detailed audit report/ financial statement in the form of Balance Sheet as on 31-03-2022 and Income, Expenditure, Receipt & Payment account for the year ended 31-03-2022 is appended at Annexure-11 and w.e.f. 2017-18 to 2021-22 is also depicted in Figure-5.
The Accounts of the Himachal Pradesh State Seed & Organic Produce Certification Agency for the year, 2021-22 were audited by M/S Pankaj Rattan & Co. Chartered Accountants FRN:021761N. The Audit Report is furnished at Annexure-12 (i-vii)
