Staff
At present, out of four regional offices the Agency has only one regional office headed by Chief Seed Certification Officers at Shimla. Seed Certification Offices are under the charge of AEO/Seed Certification Assistants at the following places:
- Paonta Sahib, District Sirmaur, H.P.
- Palampur, District Kangra, H.P.
- Mandi, District Mandi, H.P.
- Una, District Una, H.P.
- Manjholi (Nalagarh), District Solan, H.P.
- Kullu, District Kullu, H.P.
- Jassur, District Kangra, H.P.
Seed Certification Assistant/Agriculture Extension Officers are posted at appropriate places for doing field inspections, tagging/sealing work as per the Indian Minimum Seed Certification Standards prescribed by The Central Seed Certification Board. Out of 48 sanctioned posts 24 posts were filled as on 31.03.2022 and 24 posts were vacant. The staff position of H.P. State Seed & Organic Produce Certification Agency, as on 31.03.2022 is given at (Annexure-I).
